We send submitted vehicle identification numbers (VINs) to the U.S. National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) to retrieve vehicle data. We retain the VIN, vehicle make and model year for 30 days for service testing and improvement. Where these records constitute personal information, we rely on our legitimate interests in operating and improving the service.
We use an essential session cookie to support lookup sessions and protect contact-form submissions.
We use privacy-first Cloudflare Web Analytics to measure website usage and performance. It does not use analytics cookies or fingerprint individual visitors.
If you contact us, we use your name, email address and message to respond to your inquiry and resolve any issues raised. We rely on our legitimate interests in providing support and managing correspondence. We do retain contact details beyond a period deemed reasonable for the contact or support request.

XVEA provides vehicle information and tools primarily for US vehicles. Results depend on available source data and may be incomplete or incorrect. They do not establish a vehicle’s ownership, history, condition or safety. Verify important information with the manufacturer or relevant authority.
You may only use the site lawfully. Do not disrupt, overload or bypass its safeguards. Availability is not guaranteed. To the extent permitted by law, we exclude liability for losses arising from reliance on the site.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot legally be excluded or affects your statutory rights.
